The art of Placemaking has become a pillar of themed entertainment world. Through sights, sounds and entertainment we transform guests into an established time period, atmosphere, famous location or a fantasy world. Creative Integrity has had the honor of transporting guests to these environments in theme parks, special events and exhibits.

Producer and Creative Director for the restoration of the original Psycho House site from the 1960 Alfred Hitchcock cinematic masterpiece “Psycho”. For historical preservation, studio craftsmen were brought in to restore and rebuild the house to its original filming condition. Extensive research was performed to ensure that the restoration was accurate down to details such as architectural detailing, period wood moldings and window treatments. Scenic aging and landscaping were employed to create the final weathered look of the Bates residence.

Also refurbished was the Bates Motel with its iconic neon sign and hillside stone stairway connecting the motel and house. As a final touch, nighttime theatrical illumination and video effects of Mother Bates were added for evening tours.

Producer for re-theming of this popular set street. The street was set back in time to London 1930’s prior to the war. Picture cars were refurbished and added, face lifts and re-designs on all the facades and operational shops. A new overlay of authentic atmosphere entertainment was added as a final touch. For the holidays, a complete re-design of period-based décor from the era was developed.

Producer and Creative Director for the refurbishment and restoration of the original plane crash site from the Steven Spielberg film “War of the Worlds”. The original site built in 2005 consists of houses that have been impacted by an airliner debris and major elements of the crashed airliner itself. Since the facades were built for a temporary filming, the goal was to insure this spectacular filming set last for years to come.

Facades were re-built with weatherproof technology and the sets were dressed with over 300 pieces of luggage, 747 airline parts, vehicles and debris from the exploded houses. As a final touch, nighttime theatrical illumination was added for evening tours

Producer and Creative Director for the refurbishment and restoration of the original Six Points Texas facades. The original site was built in 1915 with six separate streets coming together on a main historical street. These six streets allowed the studio to film six separate silent films at the same time. Since the facades were built in a temporary fashion, the goal was to insure these spectacular film sets be restored with today’s practicality last for years to come. Studio craftsman re-built the town with weatherproof technology and the sets were art directed and dressed period appropriate.

Producer and Creative Director for the refurbishment and re-design of Amity Island on the Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour. Amity Island is home to famous sets from “Murder She Wrote” and the popular “Jaws” attraction. The facades were given a much needed structural and art direction face lift as well as creating new site-specific photo opportunities and story elements for the Studio Tour.

Producer and Creative Director for the refurbishment and re-design of the Flash Flood attraction on the Universal Studios Hollywood Studio Tour. Flash Flood has been a staple of the Universal Studio Tour since 1968 with ten thousand gallons of water impacting the facades every time the show is presented. Marking the fifty-year anniversary, the attraction needed a major face lift with new technology and art direction. Upgrades included a new audio system, theatrical lighting, demolishing and adding new weatherproof facades and adding art direction for storytelling.

Producer and Creative Director for the refurbishment and restoration the theme park French Street facades. The street was taken back to the ear of the 1940’s Paris for storytelling purposes. All facades were given a re-design creating new shops and business appropriate for the time period. Atmosphere entertainment was added to bring life to the street.
